Dartmouth Class of ’77

40th Reunion

June 15-18, 2017

The Class of ‘77 40th Reunion is fast approaching and the Committee is hard at work planning a busy schedule of activities to re-connect with old friends and make new ones in the Cluster Classes of ’76, ’77 and ’78.  ‘77 will have the largest of the cluster tents in front of Alumni Gym.

From a Craft Beer Tasting (thanks to Gary Rogers) on Thursday evening to the sound of steel drums at Pete Volanakis’ home, to a Lobster Dinner on Friday evening and a memorable reception and dinner at President Hanlon’s lawn on Saturday evening.  Don’t miss this extraordinary Dartmouth event with one of our own presiding in Parkhurst!

There will be lots of fun and interesting daytime events as well, including an Arts Reception, Alumnae Breakfast, IMAGINE Panel (exploring classmates’ second careers, moderated by John Donvan), joint Saturday lunch with the Classes of ’76 and ’78 (entertainment by the Aires and Distractions from all three classes).  Not to mention late-night pizza in our tent as you reminisce about carefree college days, learn about the paths your classmates have taken since leaving Hanover and ponder the years ahead.  We will conclude with a farewell breakfast on Sunday morning.

Whether you’re a die-hard regular who hasn’t missed a single reunion or a newbie, it’s time to mark your calendar for June 15-18, 2017.  Join the planning Committee, volunteer to help over Reunion Weekend or become a GREEN ANGEL by funding live music, the Lobster Dinner, champagne at the President’s House reception or an embroidered SWAG item.  Or even donate beer glasses or breakfast muffins!  All contributions to making the 40th a time to remember will be greatly appreciated.

Please contact Reunion Chair Jim Guth (jguth4280@aol.com) to offer your talents to ensure that our 40th gets BE77ER ALL THE TIME.
